However this cartrive works fine for text, and should yeield about 300 to 400 pages if used sparingly. I actually have not opened it yet, because i bout it when my last cartrige was half full. I am a college student, and i bought a pixma ip2600 printer which uses this cartrige. Overall a good product at a low price. Beleive me, these cartriges will go for ever, as long as you do not print many piictures. I noticed that my color cartrige, which is a little smaller ran out pretty quick. I got mine for about 15 dollars with free shipping. saved about 5 dollars vs walmarts pice.
Whats to be said about the Canon PG40 printer ink. Compact & easily fitting. Designed for its purpose and works well.
Got tired using regular cartridge and replacing after 1 or 2 weeks. This works great.
I have a Canon MX310 ink jet printer and this cartridge is easy to install and replace.
I have not experienced any problems with this product. It is just like purchasing an ink cartridge at Best Buy or something.
